About

For nearly 20 years, Acosta’s Consignment has been helping people throughout the Chicagoland area find new homes for their beautiful pieces.

What began as a dream and a small 3,500-square-foot showroom in St. Charles, Il has grown into one of Chicagoland’s favorite destinations for quality consigned furniture, home décor and unique finds.

At our stunning 12,000 square foot Wheaton, Illinois showroom, you’ll discover an ever-changing collection of carefully selected furniture and décor—from timeless traditional and transitional pieces to modern, contemporary, vintage and one-of-a-kind finds.

Our showroom features quality consigned and select new pieces, including furniture, lighting, artwork, mirrors, home décor, seasonal accents, crystal and china, collectibles, gifts and more. Because new pieces arrive every day, no two visits to Acosta’s are ever quite the same.

We source our inventory from homes throughout Chicagoland, downsizing and moving clients, designers, model homes, estates, commercial consignors, store closings and overstocks.

This allows us to offer an incredible variety of quality furnishings—
often at 40–75% below traditional retail prices.

But Acosta’s has always been about more than furniture.

We’re a family-owned business built on a love of beautiful homes, great pieces and the people behind them. Whether you're furnishing an entire room, searching for that one perfect piece, or looking for a new home for furniture you already own, we want Acosta’s to make the experience easy, welcoming and enjoyable.

For shoppers, there’s always the possibility of discovering something you weren’t expecting.

For consignors, there’s something satisfying about seeing a piece you once loved become part of someone else’s home.

That’s what we love about consignment: good pieces deserve another chapter.

Come visit us in Wheaton and see what just arrived!

Chris & Ces Acosta

Meet Chris & Ces Acosta

Behind Acosta’s is a family, a love of beautiful things, and more than 30 years of experience finding new homes for pieces with a story to tell.

Chris Acosta’s journey began more than three decades ago, working alongside her parents in their antique stores. In 1997, Chris and Ces turned that experience into an estate sale business, eventually growing it to more than 80 estate sales each year.

Those years brought some unforgettable discoveries—from museum-quality antiques and a suit of armor to celebrity artwork, extraordinary jewelry and, yes, even a human skeleton in a pine coffin! Their adventures also led to numerous television and news appearances, including an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 2009.

In 2007, Chris and Ces took everything they had learned about furniture, antiques, resale and helping families through transitions and founded Acosta’s Consignment. What began as a 3,500-square-foot showroom grew over the years into one of Chicagoland’s best-known destinations for quality consigned furniture and home décor.

Today, Acosta’s serves shoppers and consignors from throughout the Chicago area and, through its online store, customers across the country. Over the years, the Acosta’s team has helped find new homes for hundreds of thousands of pieces—something Chris and Ces are incredibly proud of.

Beyond Acosta’s

When they’re not at the store, Chris and Ces enjoy spending time with their four daughters and three grandchildren. Their family also includes Hailey, their Cockapoo, and a very opinionated talking Quaker parrot who keeps everyone entertained.

They share a love of dogs and wildlife, home decorating, Halloween, movies, traveling, Pickleball, discovering great restaurants, supporting fellow small-business owners—and, of course, the Chicago Bears.

After nearly 20 years of Acosta’s and more than three decades in the resale industry, Chris and Ces remain incredibly grateful to the customers, consignors, employees and communities that have supported their family business.

For them, Acosta’s has never been simply about selling furniture. It’s about people, relationships and giving good pieces a new story.
